We are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our talented, growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Finance Administrator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. The role involves using Xero and Evolution systems to process invoices, reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records. This position requires strong attention to detail, accuracy, and the ability to manage a varied workload while supporting the wider Accounts team. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Purchase Ledger processing across all businesses.

Use Xero and Evolution systems for processing.
→ Complete bank reconcilliations accurately and in a timely manner.
Generate, print and apply barcodes to invoices.
Upload and manage documents via Streem, including relinking records where required.
Raise and process sales invoices.
Proactively chase overdue debt and support credit control activities. 
Carry out statement reconciliations to ensure account accuracy. 
Ensure compliance with all statutory and HMRC legislations. 
Process purchase invoices and match to purchase orders.
Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries. 
Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements. 
Maintain financial records and filing systems. 
Perform adhoc finance and administrative tasks as required.
Perform other finance duties as required or directed by Senior Management to support smooth operation across the Business.
