We are looking for an experienced and driven Assistant Site Manager to join our talented, growing team.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Assistant Site Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of on-site construction activities of a new-build residential development. You will assist with motivating and coordinating all site personnel, subcontractors and trades to deliver highest standards of quality whilst ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
→ Assist the Site Manager with the day-to-day running of all on-site construction activities of a new-build residential development.
→ Motivate, support and assist in coordinating all site personnel, subcontractors and trades to deliver high-quality workmanship.
→ Ensure compliance at all times with company health and safety policies, NHBC requirements, building regulations and internal quality standards.
→ Support the Site Manager in monitoring, scheduling and managing material levels and storage on-site.
→ Liaise with the technical, commercial and sales teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
→ Conduct regular site inspections to maintain build quality and resolve any issues promptly.
→ Maintain a high level of site presentation at all times.
→ Maintain accurate site records, including diaries, progress reports and health and safety documentation.
→ Assist in conducting home demonstrations alongside the Sales Executive, ensuring a positive handover experience and resolving any queries before legal completion.
→ You will be required to move from site-to-site in order to gain experience from our Site Manager's and provide holiday cover. There will also be travel to our Newton Aycliffe head office when necessary.
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS
Essential:
→ Valid SSSTS qualification
→ Valid CSCS card or equivalent
→ Valid first aid certificate
→ Up-to-date knowledge of health and safety and building regulations
→ Full UK driving licence
→ Competent IT skills
Desirable:
→ NEBOSH indstry health and safety standards certificate
→ NVQ Level 4
→ Valid temporary works supervisor qualification
→ Valid scaffold appreciation certificate
→ Experience in a similar role for a new-build housebuilder
