As 2025 draws to a close, we’re taking a moment to reflect on a year filled with exciting milestones for Homes by Carlton. From welcoming new homeowners into our communities to opening inspiring new showhomes and continuing to expand our talented team, it’s been a year all about growth.
Completing Established Communities
Throughout 2025, we were delighted to hand over the final homes at Eastfields in Whitton, while also celebrating the sale of the final home at The Langtons in Redmarshall, with handover set to follow.
Both developments are now well-established communities, and it’s been a privilege to see residents settle in and begin the next chapter of their lives — with more exciting new beginnings on the horizon.
Welcoming The First Homeowners To Our New Developments
This year marked a significant milestone at two of our newest developments, as we proudly welcomed the first homeowners to both Beauford Park in Witton Gilbert and Woodberry Park in Staindrop.
Seeing these new communities come to life has been a proud moment for our team and an important step in delivering thoughtfully designed new homes across County Durham and the North East.
Alongside this, interest remained strong at our Middleton Waters development in Middleton St George, with over 65% of our released homes on Phase 2 now sold or reserved.
New Showhomes Launched
This year also saw the opening of two brand-new showhomes, giving prospective buyers the opportunity to step inside a Homes by Carlton home and truly experience our approach to design and craftsmanship.
We unveiled The Winchester showhome at Beauford Park in March, a beautiful five-bedroom home that showcases contemporary design, generous living areas and high-quality finishes throughout.

In November, we opened The Richmond showhome – a charming three-bedroom home that reflects the character of village life while offering contemporary interiors and flexible living spaces – at Woodberry Park.

Engaging The Local Community At Beauford Park
Community engagement is central to our approach. This year, we were delighted to welcome Year 1 and Year 5 pupils from Witton Gilbert Primary School to visit our Beauford Park development.
The visit gave pupils an insight into how the new homes are being built within their local community, and following the visit, the Year 5 children took part in a competition to design the new cover for our Beauford Park homeowners’ welcome cards.
We were thrilled by the creativity on display, and Phoebe was selected as the winner. Her fantastic design will now be proudly handed out to our feature new residents.

Investing In Our Team
Behind the scenes, 2025 was also a year of investment in people. We welcomed several new team members across the business, strengthening our expertise as we continue to grow.
Notable appointments included Elliot Martindale, Head of Technical, and Dan Holyoak, Head of Construction, whose experience supports our commitment to delivering high-quality homes at every stage of the build process.
“These are two crucial appointments, and both bring significant experience and knowledge to the business,” said Norman Peterson, Co-Founder and Chairman of Homes by Carlton.
“They’ve helped put us in a fantastic position heading into the new year.”

Looking Ahead To 2026
In early 2026, we’re looking forward to bringing Saxon Vale in Sadberge to the market — the latest addition to our growing portfolio of thoughtfully designed communities.
Alongside our existing developments and future pipeline, this forms part of our long-term commitment to delivering beautifully built homes across the North East, in places people genuinely want to live.
